About
My name is Clive Williams. I dare say that if you are reading this, life has dealt you some knocks as it has me. It’s the natural way of things but it can be hard to deal with.
I have had a variety of jobs, I’m a Toolmaker by trade, a Teacher by profession and I have spent some time in the military. I’ve laboured in factories, driven trucks and been scaffolding. I qualified to teach in 1992 and since that time I have worked predominantly in teaching and training. I have a love of technology, motorcycles, guitars, photography, people and outdoors. Life is too short to not be doing something!
Over the years, I have had to deal with many deeply disturbing and life changing experiences. In 2019, I lost my job after becoming sick with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS). I was devastated. Here was an illness that try as I might, I was unable to overcome and there was no help available from our health services. I could not accept that I was not employable although there have been days when moving around the house at will, was not possible.
I began to take stock and synthesize my situation and the skills, knowledge, attributes and equipment at my disposal, with a view to re establishing myself, getting off benefits and making a useful contribution to society. I wanted something that I was in control of so that I could balance the requirements of the work, with the restrictions imposed upon me by the ME. In many respects I am very fortunate. I am able to work from home, although I cannot guarantee to be able to leave the house on any given day. I came upon the idea of becoming a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist. The more I looked into the idea, the more appealing it became. I could use my love of people and my life experience, to help other people to navigate a path through their own trials and tribulations. Technology makes it possible to do this without leaving my home, so that I can reliably offer a much needed service. The Hypnotherapy aspect of the therapy is appealing to me because it is dynamic and reactive. It can greatly speed up the therapeutic process whilst giving the Client a tool that they can then use throughout the rest of their lives, when necessary, to combat some of the negative aspects of modern life. I am excited to have qualified to offer Clients, Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. My experiences mean that I am able to offer a non-judgemental, empathetic experience that will enable you to re-adjust aspects of your thinking and behaviour that are standing between you and the changes that you wish to see in your life. Please contact me and arrange a free consultation wherein we can discuss your situation and whether Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is likely to be an effective therapy for you. You have nothing to lose and much to gain. There is no cost, no commitment and the benefits can be far reaching. Clarity Peace and a brighter future await, but you must take action! Please contact me without delay.
